Afi Ese Art

Fine Artist, Digital Illustrator, Art Therapist

Afi Ese is an African American contemporary realism and figurative narrative artist living in Houston, Texas  with roots in Togo and Mali. Her work focuses on Black portraiture while representing and venerating the rich history of the West African diaspora with an emphasis on generational trauma and triumph in rural Black America. Her paintings are conceptualized narratives of the African plight through the eyes of a self-aware Black American.

Afi identifies as a disabled artist, suffering from advanced rheumatoid arthritis and is wheel-chair dependent. She views artistic ability as a mental skill just as much as a physical skill and aims to show others with disabilities that they can find catharsis and relief through art.

After many years as a forensic mental health clinician, this client asked us to help transition into a new market. From our first conversations to now, our partnership has not only guided them successfully into a new market, but become more successful than ever before.

Kenny J

Fine Artist

Kenny J is a contemporary urban artist based in California who calls his work, “Speak Your Truth Art”.  Words have power.  Every artist and/or personality speaks their truth either through their music or through their words of inspiration.

He often has customers tell him that when friends come over to their place and see his art on their walls, they look to see the words and what they’re saying.  Then they start looking for their favorite song.  It transports them back to a specific time in their lives, a place of nostalgia.  It makes Kenny feel the same way and he is happy to take folks to that place.
